Number Three: Taysom Hill

The final New Orleans Saints quarterback who will make the final 53-man roster, in my opinion, is Taysom Hill. Brees, Winston, and Hill are certain locks to make the final 53-man roster, which is a tough break for the rookie out of Mississippi State in Tommy Stevens.

Stevens would need a perfect training camp to crack the roster and I’m not certain he will be able to do that. Practice squad quarterback seems a bit more realistic.

Taysom Hill has been the ultimate weapon for the Saints in his three seasons with the franchise. Hill, a BYU alum, hasn’t really proven he can play quarterback in the NFL but he has proven he can be a playmaker which could be more valuable.

Since Hill’s arrival in 2017, he has recorded three rushing touchdowns, eight receiving touchdowns, and has touched the ball 86 times.

The Saints’ staff is high on the potential Hill has, but it’s uncertain what his role with the team will be moving forward as Jameis Winston came into town.
