Number Two: Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston is a sure lock to make the New Orleans Saints’ final roster after the team signed him a couple of months ago for a tad over one million dollars.

Winston’s insane contract makes him one of the lowest-paid players on the Saints roster, but Winston is there for one reason — to learn under Sean Payton and Drew Brees.

Winston is starting to show the great maturity that all NFL experts, analysts, and coaches wanted to see from him coming out of college.

The fact that Winston took less money after leading the NFL in passing yards in 2019 shows he has his mind in the right place and wants to earn his monetary value rather than have it given to him.

Winston has all the tangibles of being the next great Saints quarterback if he can run with this opportunity. The Saints staff is already high on him and a strong offseason could keep him in New Orleans for the long haul.
