Number One: Drew Brees

This is an obvious one. The NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards, completion percentage, and passing touchdowns is an obvious lock to make the New Orleans Saints’ final 53-man roster.

Brees single-handedly reinvented the Saints upon his arrival in 2006 and the Saints have been a legitimate threat in the NFC ever since.

Drew Brees contemplated retiring following the 2019 season but opted to give it one final go at a Super Bowl to go out on top.

Brees had an efficient 2019 season despite suffering a thumb injury that sidelined him for five weeks. In 2019, Brees recorded a 74.3 completion percentage, tossed 2,979 passing yards, and had a touchdown to interception ratio of 27:4.

Brees still has some gas in the tank and will look to prove that in what is likely to be his final season in 2020.
