The New Orleans Saints brought in a very talented linebacker by the name of Nigel Bradham to help add depth to an already solid New Orleans defense.

The Saints inked Bradham to a one-year deal following a four-year stint with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bradham has always been a punishing hitter and actually has a similar play style to fellow Saints linebacker Demario Davis. Davis, who an All-Pro a season ago, is easily one of the team’s best defenders.

Bradham is certainly no lock to make the Saints’ final roster, but a strong training camp could give him an edge over some guys.

Players like Kiko Alonso, Alex Anzalone, and others will be fighting for those same spots, and they’re really just going to go to who the coaching staff thinks will be the best addition for the roster.

Davis, Baun, Anzalone, Alonso, and now Bradham could all easily crack the roster as linebacker is easily the thinnest position for the Saints’ defense.

Here’s three reasons why Nigel Bradham is a good fit in New Orleans.
