Number Five: Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson is a very unpopular guy who plays safety for the New Orleans Saints. Johnson spent the 2019 season with the Houston Texans but never played a snap with the team. Johnson, a North Alabama alum, has virtually no chance of making the final roster.

The Saints’ starting safeties are already set in stone; Marcus Williams will dominate at free safety and newly signed Malcolm Jenkins will anchor the strong side.

Backing them up are solid veterans in Johnson Bademosi, DJ Swearinger, and Justin Hardee. Also in the mix is JT Gray.

With all the talent already at the safety position in New Orleans, Chris Johnson seems to already be the odd man out in the Big Easy. The secondary needs help, but the safety position will be just fine.
