10 Saints that could be cut before the team reports to camp

Number Four: Taquan Mizzell
Taquan Mizzell was a member of the New Orleans Saints practice squad in 2019 and never saw any game action with the team. His only NFL action came from his tenure in Chicago where he ran the ball nine times for 16 yards and hauled in eight receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.
Mizzell was brought in as the guy to fill the Alvin Kamara role if anything were to happen to him during the season, which is exactly what happened.
Clearly the Saints didn’t view Mizzell as a good option because even though Kamara missed a couple games in 2019, Mizzell never got called up from the practice squad.
The only thing Mizzell has going for him is his ability to play both running back and wide receiver. The downfall to that, however, is the Saints just signed a guy who can do the same thing but better, Ty Montgomery.
Mizzell’s chances of making the team in 2020 are slim to none.
