10 Saints that could be cut before the team reports to camp

Number Ten: Carl Granderson

Carl Granderson is a defensive end for the Saints who doesn’t see the field much behind the excellent depth the team already has. Granderson played his college football for Wyoming and spent the entire 2019 season with the Saints.

Granderson is competing with several players to make the Saints roster, but that’s a lot easier said than done. The Saints recently brought in Margus Hunt and Malcolm Roach to help sure up the position and the team is currently in the Jadeveon Clowney sweepstakes as well.

Granderson also has to compete with Cam Jordan, Marcus Davenport, Trey Hendrickson, and Mario Edwards Jr for playing time as well.

The Saints have a ton of talent at the defensive end position already which could be cause for Granderson’s release from the team.
