WR, Emmanuel Sanders

Again, this is a new addition to the Saints roster via the offseason. Emmanuel Sanders was one of the most sought after wide receivers of the free agency market and he chose to take his talents to New Orleans.

However, this will be the third team that Sanders has played within the last year. He started 2019 with the Denver Broncos before being traded to the San Francisco 49ers. Now, with the Saints, he will have to learn another playbook and another offensive scheme.

There are two major downsides for Emmanuel Sanders not getting a preseason trial with the team. First, he will have no game scrimmages to get a connection with his new future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Drew Brees.

Secondly, Sanders will have no time to get acquainted with the other route runners on the Saints offense like Michael Thomas, Jared Cook, Alvin Kamara, and so on, to learn how to share the field properly and find his place in the offense.
