An NFL Record for History

We can’t fully explain how dominant Thomas was without explaining how he broke a decade long receptions record. The last person to own the record of most receptions in a single season was Indianapolis Colts’, Marvin Harrison.

He caught 144 passes during the 2007 season. Thomas just edged him out this year reeling in 149 receptions. The Saints star continued to pour in the game after game with more than 10 receptions.

In fact, he ended the 2019 season leading the league in receptions per game as well with 9.3. Michael Thomas was one of the few rare talents we see at his age, and he went down in the NFL record books for it.

All of the stats that Michael Thomas achieved in 2019 should point you to how dominant he was and continues to be.
