Chauncey Gardner-Johnson has the lowest contract of the players that make the impact that he does. He might not start at one of the safety spots, but he is one of the most lockdown slot cover backs that there is in the NFL.

He has also proven one of the most durable players in the secondary. He played in all 16 games last year which was his rookie season. He is on point to be a very successful player in the NFL in the future.

In his rookie season, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson grabbed one interception, had eight passes defended, forced one fumble, recovered one fumble, tackled 37 guys (six for a loss), and hit the quarterback four times.

Those stats are greater and higher than most starting safeties in the NFL. For this reason, especially with CGJ can keep up what he did his rookie season, he will be massively outplaying his current contract.
