Number One: Dave Wilson

Dave Wilson was a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints from 1981 through 1989. Wilson, a first-round pick in the supplemental draft in 1981, was brought on board to try to be the signal-caller to help replace the great Archie Manning, but it certainly didn’t go that way.

In his eight-year NFL career, Wilson only managed to start for two full seasons, in which he underwhelmed everyone who watched him play. In his entire tenure in the Big Easy, Wilson only managed to toss 36 touchdowns while garnering up 55 interceptions. H

e managed to toss just 6,987 yards and post an awful 63.8 quarterback rating.

While he didn’t take the place of Archie Manning, he also wasn’t the worst pick the Saints have made at the position. Wilson was expected to be much better but was never a solid option at the most important position for the Saints.
