Number One: Demario Davis

Demario Davis is one of the NFL’s best linebackers and, due to him always flying under the radar, has yet to be named to a Pro Bowl. Davis, 31, hasn’t had less than 90 tackles in a season since his rookie year with the New York Jets in 2012.

Davis has been the anchor the Saints defense needed. They lacked leadership at the linebacker position since the retirement of legendary linebacker Jonathan Vilma until they came across Demario Davis.

Davis has been lights out for the Saints over the past two seasons logging 221 tackles, 22 tackles for a loss, 20 quarterback hits, nine sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception, and 16 passes defended.

His 2019 season alone should have secured him a spot at the Pro Bowl as he recorded 111 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, four sacks, and 12 passes defended. Davis also took home First-Team All-Pro honors, a feat many linebackers at the Pro Bowl didn’t obtain.

If Davis continues to shine, I could see him securing his spot in the Pro Bowl in 2020.
