3 linebackers that could be multi-year signings for the New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have a plethora of linebackers hitting the market next offseason and could use some stability for the long-term future.
No one is going to deny the fact that the New Orleans Saints improved their roster this offseason.
The most notable addition was wide receiver, Emmanuel Sanders. He’ll fill out the offense with another top-tier threat. The next few important names are Zack Baun and Cesar Ruiz, two players who could start immediately upon arriving in the Big Easy.
Ruiz is almost guaranteed a role after the Saints waived guard Larry Warford. Many consider it a smart move given that the team will save almost $8 million in cap space. As for Baun, he could still be splitting time with Kiko Alonso and Alex Anzalone.
Those two will try to give Demario Davis some assistance in assuring a steady linebacking corps. However, the team will need to brace for the worst when it comes to the 2021 free agency period, one where they could lose several linebackers.
While nothing is guaranteed, those three non-rookies and Craig Robertson will all hit the market. They could use some long-term assurance. That said, let’s dive into three players that the team could sign prior to the season’s commencement.
