Number Five: Danny Abramowicz

Danny Abramowicz was Taysom Hill before Taysom Hill.

Abramowicz played multiple positions, primarily wide receiver, but he also played quarterback and running back during his career. Abramowicz was the first true star the Saints ever had and he proved it during his career.

Abramowicz currently ranks fifth on the Saints’ all-time receiving yards list, but he played in an era where there were no rules to protect receivers and still managed to dominate.

Abramowicz recorded some impressive numbers in his career logging 309 receptions, 4,875 receiving yards, 15.8 yards per reception, and 37 receiving touchdowns.

Abramowicz deserves to be talked about more for his contributions to the New Orleans Saints organization and he definitely deserves to be top five in Saints receiving history.
