Number Four: Eric Martin

Eric Martin is still considered by a lot of older Saints fans as the best wide receiver in the franchise’s history. Martin was phenomenal in the black and gold throughout his career and still holds several Saints receiving records.

Martin spent nine years in the Big Easy and didn’t let his time go to waste.

Martin posted incredible numbers logging 532 receptions, 7,854 receiving yards, a 14.8 yards per reception average, and 48 receiving touchdowns. Martin also played well as a kick and punt returner too, logging a total of 863 yards off 68 total returns.

Eric Martin still has the second-most receiving yards in franchise history and could keep that number two spot for a few more years before the great young star in Michael Thomas could catch him.
