Number Four: Pierre Thomas

Pierre Thomas spent eight years in the Big Easy from 2007 through 2014 and was always a reliable number two running back.

Thomas played a pivotal role as a change of pace running back and the secondary option for guys like Mark Ingram and Reggie Bush. He helped the team win their first and only Super Bowl in 2009.

Pierre Thomas had 818 rush attempts in his career with the black and gold and logged 4.6 yards per rush average, 3,745 rushing yards, and found the end zone 28 times on the ground.

Thomas also played a pivotal role in the receiving game catching 84.1 percent of his passes while logging 327 receptions, 2,608 receiving yards, and 12 trips to the end zone.

Pierre Thomas was never the primary running back in his career, but he always took advantage of his opportunities to play, which is why he comes in as the fourth-best running back in Saints history.
