Number Two: Mark Ingram

Mark Ingram had an incredible career with the New Orleans Saints before departing in free agency following the 2018 season. Ingram was spectacular in his career with the Saints, just falling short of the team’s all-time rushing record of 6,096 rushing yards during his tenure.

Ingram was the Saints’ workhorse running back for eight years before they transitioned that role to Alvin Kamara in 2019.

Ingram logged incredible stats with the Saints; however, posting numbers of over 1,300 rush attempts, 6,007 rushing yards, and 50 rushing touchdowns to go along with 228 receptions, 1,598 receiving yards, and five receiving touchdowns.

Ingram is also the Saints’ all-time leader in rushing touchdowns with 50 and the former Heisman Trophy winner at Alabama always seemed to come up clutch when the team needed him the most.

The two-time Pro Bowler ranks as the second-best running back in franchise history, and number three on this list isn’t even close.
