There has been a surplus of talent that has come through the New Orleans Saints’ locker room, but the most talented position of them all may belong in the backfield.

It’s hard to pinpoint one position that truly been the best for the black and gold, but throughout the years, many of their running backs have been among the league’s best. The Big Easy has fostered solid backs for decades.

The Saints have pretty much always had a good running back in the backfield, sometimes more than enough. Right now, they have one of the league’s most elusive backs in fourth-year pro Alvin Kamara.

Although running backs aren’t hard to come across, the Saints always seem to find the best of the best and it has paid off. The Saints may not be one of the best franchises in NFL history, but they’re running back talent may prove otherwise.
