Demario Davis

Demario Davis is the unlikely candidate or is he? Last season, Davis was selected as a first-team All-Pro candidate, but here is the twist, Davis was also NOT selected to the Pro-Bowl becoming part of a handful of people in that select group.

Davis started his career in 2012 with the New York Jets. He played with them for four years before going to Cleveland for a year. After that, he went back to the Jets for another year before finding his way to the New Orleans Saints.

Davis had his best season in 2017 just before he joined the Saints with 5.0 sacks and 137 tackles — both tie or are career highs. Since then, he has started every game for the Saints for the last two years and has had quality stats in both years.

He has combined for one interception, 9.0 sacks, 221 tackles (22 for a loss), and 20 hits on the quarterback. If Davis keeps those stats for this year or ups them, he will get his coveted first career Pro Bowl selection.
