Number Five: Austin Carr

Austin Carr is a wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints, but it’s a tall mountain to climb if he plans on making the Saints final roster coming out of training camp.

Carr has been with the Saints since 2017 and has logged decent numbers in his career so far. Carr has logged ten receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns in his career.

Carr is simply going to be the odd man out in New Orleans as the Saints revamped their receiving corps into one of the league’s best.

They have several guys returning including Michael Thomas, Tre’Quan Smith, Krishawn Hogan, and Deonte Harris. Plus they added the services of Emmanuel Sanders, Marquez Callaway, Maurice Harris, and Juwan Johnson to compete for a roster spot as well.

Austin Carr is a good wide receiver, but you have to be great to make the Saints final roster. I’m sure Carr will get opportunities to play for other teams but he’s just not consistent enough to stay on the New Orleans roster.
