Fantasy Football: 5 New Orleans Saints to bet high on in drafts

Jared Cook (TE)
Let’s not quickly forget that Jared Cook was a Pro Bowler last season. He also ranked No. 7 in fantasy points throughout the season for his position. Now, Cook has never been extremely talented or a highly sought after tight end in fantasy terms, but he gets the job done.
Cook has, however, been extremely consistent and reliable at the position. The Saints have needed someone like Cook since the departure of Jimmy Graham years ago. Cook showed stability last year to be able to be a top target.
When Drew Brees continues to trust you and throw the ball to you, there is something that should be said for that. Last season, Cook caught the most passes from Brees behind Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara.
Next year, he should still be able to fill that role, but with Emmanuel Sanders in the picture, his numbers might not increase incredibly. However, I do think they will remain stead as to what they were last year and Cook will continue to be a low tier two tight end.
