Michael Thomas (WR)

This one is an easy one. Last year, Michael Thomas literally could not be guarded. He grabbed an NFL record number of receptions in the season and added a handful of touchdowns and over 1,000 yards to complete a historic season.

To be perfectly honest, I don’t expect that again from Michael Thomas this season — especially after the acquisition of Emmanuel Sanders. However, I do expect Thomas to continue to be a top-five if not the best fantasy receiver in the NFL.

In point per reception leagues, Michael Thomas had 375 fantasy points last season. That was second only, not including quarterbacks, to the Carolina Panthers’ running back Christian McCaffrey.

Even including quarterbacks, Michael Thomas ranked No. 3 in fantasy points behind McCaffrey and Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson. While he might not post 375 fantasy points next season, he will still top all wide receivers, again.
