No. 3 Deonte Harris

No surprise here. After coming undrafted out of Assumption College, young Deonte Harris garnered enough buzz with his quick feet in training camp and a 78-yard return in the preseason to make the final cut.

Fast forward to week three, and the new kid on the block takes back the first return touchdown of the 2019 season. Any fan who was thinking this was just another Sean Payton experiment quickly snapped to attention.

What should be most promising is how Harris will continue to develop into an offensive weapon. Though his presence was scarce, he was featured in packages on offense in what felt experimental, but promising.

Harris didn’t make any flashy plays in the run or pass game, but Saints fans should expect to see his role in the offense increase in 2020.

Either way, Harris gives the franchise plenty to cheer about, being the first undrafted rookie in team history to make the Pro Bowl.
