3 New Orleans Saints primed for a breakout season in 2020

Saints fans have had the pleasure of watching several of their young recruits explode onto the scene in the past few seasons.

In the Sean Payton era, especially, several of the Saints late-round draft picks have quickly become stud contributors; guys who initially inspired the scratching of heads only became fan favorites. Think Alvin Kamara for instance.

The success of misfit toys has only added to the franchise’s continued legacy of underdoggery, and chances are, for the foreseeable future, that legacy will continue.

As many come up for new and rather large contract, the Saints will likely aim for the draft as an avenue to improve should they let some of their developed stars go. However, they could easily have a few of those up-and-coming stars yet to break out.

It just so happens that there are several young men on the depth chart right now that are primed to make a name for themselves this upcoming season. That said, who is primed for a breakout season in 2020? Here are three names to keep in mind.
