New Orleans Saints: Way-too-early 53-man roster prediction

Linebacker (6)
Demario Davis
Zack Baun
Alex Anzalone
Kiko Alonso
Craig Robertson
Kaden Elliss
I’m not sure who the last two linebackers will be to make the team since Robertson is such a liability when put on defense and while Elliss did impress early, he got put on IR before the season even started.
I’m keeping Robertson for his special teams play and leadership and Elliss because I think he can bounce back from his injury and play well.
But keep an eye out for Joe Bachie out of Michigan State, who the Saints signed after he went undrafted partially because of a failed PED test. He has a legit chance to make this roster and push either Robertson or Elliss for a job.
Defensive Back (10)
Marshon Lattimore
Janoris Jenkins
P.J. Williams
C.J. Gardner-Johnson
Malcolm Jenkins
Marcus Williams
J.T. Gray
Justin Hardee
Saquan Hampton
Deatrick Nichols
Not many changes to this position group. I left Patrick Robinson off because he hasn’t played well in his second stint with the Saints and replaced him with Nichols, the XFL interceptions leader. I also kept Hardee because of his special teams’ ability and locker room chemistry.
The secondary looks talented as ever as we approach the 2020 season.
