New Orleans Saints: 3 players that could vie for final wide receiver spot

There’s no denying the New Orleans Saints have high expectations for their receivers, and this coming season will be no different.
The New Orleans Saints are one of the most competitive teams in the NFL and every position will be under a spotlight, especially the receivers at the bottom of the roster in what could be Drew Brees’ final season.
Guys like Tre’Quan Smith, Michael Thomas, and Emmanuel Sanders are locks to make the final 53 man roster, but not everyone has that same luxury. However, we do know that those three plus Deonte Harris will crack the roster.
The Saints are in win-now mode more so than ever before and they will expect to see contributions from every single player on the roster. It’ll no longer be acceptable to not contribute like several receivers on last season’s receiving corps.
The training camp battles between the bottom half receivers will be must-see television especially when they have so much to offer. The Saints signed a handful of players that will directly compete for the last few spots.
Here are three players who could vie for the Saints’ final wide receiver spot in 2020.
