Round One: Pick #24

In the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, I have the New Orleans Saints selecting Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray. Murray, a 6-foot-2, 243-pound linebacker, spent three years as an Oklahoma Sooner.

In three years with the Sooners, Murray totaled 325 tackles, 36.5 tackles for a loss, nine and a half sacks, one forced fumble, 2 fumbles recovered, and six passes defended.

At the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine, Murray ran an unofficial 4.52 forty yard dash while knocking out 21 bench press reps. Murray had a 38-inch vertical jump and a 129-inch broad jump as well.

The Saints have a dire need at linebacker that needs to be addressed during this draft.

Demario Davis, Alex Anzalone, Kiko Alonso, and Craig Robertson are all set to become free agents following the season and will have no linebackers left on the roster. drafting Murray with their 24th overall pick will solve a long term need for the Saints.
