3 reasons why the New Orleans Saints should draft Carter Stanley

Number Two: His Skill Set
Carter Stanley has a very unique skill set. Although he didn’t run the ball very much in his Kansas career, he most definitely has the ability to do so. His nimble feet help him avoid pass rushers and extend plays.
Stanley spent the majority of his career as a backup at Kansas but still saw plenty of action on the field.
Stanley is a tall, athletic quarterback and almost has a bit of a Russell Wilson passing style with the way he finishes throws. Stanley is very accurate with the football and his style of play should translate nicely to the NFL level.
He is also staying in shape and working hard at home during the global pandemic, potentially helping the draft hopeful get a leg up while also showing that he’s willing to continue to put in work regardless of if his NFL dream becomes a reality or not.
He is constantly working on drills to help with his poise and posture and he is also doing drills to help with his footwork. While many guys may be taking a brief vacation, Carter Stanley continues to work on perfecting his craft.
