3 New Orleans Saints players on the hot seat in 2020

Rumors have been swirling around the speculation of whether the New Orleans Saints are going to pay Alvin Kamara at the end of the year, if they are going to trade him to another team, or if they are going to let him walk in free agency in 2021.

Kamara is currently making just under $1 million per year. If he is going to cash in on his talent then he is going to have to 1) stay healthy and 2) show that his talent is actually worth the money he is going to be commanding.

Therefore, it is almost as important for Alvin Kamara to have another superstar season than it is for anyone on the team. Kamara’s long-term, multi-million dollar contract is at stake. Kamara dealt with some injury problems last year.

He is going to have to come out and put up better numbers than he did last season. Of course, there is always the possibility that he just holds out and doesn’t play until he gets that long-term contract so he doesn’t risk getting hurt.
