3 free agents that could still immediately help New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints had a good first wave of free agency, but the second wave could be just as important as the first.

The first wave of free agents has gone by. The New Orleans Saints made their moves and so did other teams. The Saints brought in new talent and also saw talent leave for other teams some even inside their division.

Now, the second wave of free agents starts right before the draft. These free agents still can make an immediate impact on teams, but they might not be the most well known or high paid athletes in the league.

The New Orleans Saints also still have needs that can be addressed. Linebacker is a huge need the team could fill in the first round of the NFL Draft, or they could slide in and secure one of the better  linebackers in free agency.

If players are willing to take a smaller contract to abide by the Saints’ cap restrictions, then these deals would make perfect sense.

Here are three players that would have an immediate impact on the Saints in the second wave of NFL free agency.
