Julian Edelman

With Tom Brady leaving for Tampa Bay in free agency, could the New England Patriots now be interested in trading Julian Edelman and starting a complete rebuild before Belichick retires? That could be a possibility.

The New Orleans Saints need to be the first team to express this kind of interest. Julian Edelman could be just the receiver that the Saints need to add to their roster. He is a no drama, hard-working, talented wideout.

Not only would he prove to be invaluable as the New Orleans Saints No. 2 receiver, but he would also provide veteran leadership to better Michael Thomas and Tre’Quan Smith. Those traits you do not find in every receiver.

Over his ten years with New England, Edelman reeled in one shy of 600 receptions for 6,507 yards and 36 touchdowns. He still has the potential to catch 100 passes and go over 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
