Number One: Lance Moore

Lance Moore was a New Orleans Saints wide receiver from 2005 through 2013. After going undrafted in 2005 following his college career at Toledo, he was immediately picked up by the Cleveland Browns.

Moore, however, was released prior to the start of the season and the was picked up by the New Orleans Saints and added to the practice squad.

The 5-foot-9 Westerville, Ohio native was a fan favorite from day one, bringing a high energy level and stellar end zone celebrations to a New Orleans franchise that hadn’t seen that type of energy before. Not only were his celebrations great, but he was also a great player.

In his Saints career, Moore hauled in 317 receptions for 3,944 yards, and 39 total touchdowns. Moore also played a pivotal role in helping the Saints win Super Bowl XLIV, their first and only Super Bowl win to date.

Moore hauled in two receptions for 21 yards and also had a clutch fourth-quarter reception for a successful two-point conversion. Moore was released in 2015 and played with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions before retiring as a member of the Saints in 2017.
