Number Three: Brian Hansen

Brian Hansen was a punter for the New Orleans Saints from 1984 until 1988.

Hansen, now 59, was a ninth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints back in 1984. Hansen was about as good a punter as could be back in the day, making a Pro Bowl appearance in his first year in the league.

In his career with the Saints, Hansen played in 76 games punting 363 times for 15,256 yards. He averaged just over 42 yards per punt as a New Orleans Saints’ special teams’ member and only had three of his punts blocked as a member of the black and gold.

Next. 3 Saints who could be dealt prior to 2020 season. dark

Hansen was the first punter in New Orleans Saints history to go to the Pro Bowl and he played very well in his career.
