3 XFL players the New Orleans Saints should consider signing

Number Two: WR Cam Phillips
Cam Phillips has been one of PJ Walker’s favorite targets in the XFL.
Phillips, 24, has hauled in 12 receptions for 130 yards and four touchdowns in just two games with the Houston Roughnecks. Phillips was a star at Virginia Tech before he was eventually signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2018.
In his career at Virginia Tech, Phillips hauled in 236 receptions for 3,027 yards, and 17 touchdowns. Phillips also ran the ball 37 times for 239 yards. Phillips only managed to haul in one regular-season pass for the Bills, but he would star in preseason games.
The Saints desperately need wide receiver help and the XFL has helped shine light on some guys who could fill that void. Phillips has been very productive and is athletic enough to be used anywhere on the field.
Adding Cam Phillips as a deep threat option to pair alongside Michael Thomas would be a solid and cheap option to help add some depth to an area of need.
