Andrus Peat

Current contract: $2.8 million

Projected free agency contract: $10 million

Compensatory Draft pick: 4th round pick

Current Replacement: Patrick Omameh

Andrus Peat is one of the free agents that the New Orleans Saints that is almost a guarantee to be gone this period. Peat is going to end up demanding more money than the Saints are willing to pay for him to stay with them.

Peat only started and appeared in 10 games this season. However, with the NFL Draft significantly lacking good offensive line talent this year, there is a good chance that Peat will see the highest contract he’s ever seen.

We have projected him to sign a $10 million contract, but as the linemen start falling off the market if a team is left without a blindside blocker he could demand upwards of $12-13 million from any of the teams willing to take the risk.
