Will Smith, not to be confused with the actor, played with the New Orleans Saints from 2004 to 2012. That was the duration of his career. He adds his name to the list of Saints that were drafted and retired with them.

Will Smith passed away in 2016 from a tragic car accident that killed him. The cause was road rage turned violent. His death heightened the statistics that he accomplished during his tenure with the New Orleans Saints.

Smith ranks No. 5 in total sacks with 67.5. He ranks No. 2 in tackles for a loss with 85 and No. 3 in forced fumbles with 20. He ranks among the best defensive ends in the entire NFL and New Orleans Saints history.
