Number Four: Linebacker

The Saints have some studs at the linebacker position including guys like Kiko Alonso, Demario Davis, Alex Anzalone, and AJ Klein.

Klein’s contract does expire this year and the Saints should definitely attempt to bring him back. He made great strides as a starter in 2019 and his veteran leadership is felt throughout the entire organization.

The Saints do need to address some depth at the position, however. Guys like Dante Fowler Jr, Mario Addison, and Shaquil Barrett are expected to cash in this offseason, so we should avoid those guys.

The Saints should go after guys like Markus Golden, Wesley Woodyard, and Darron Lee.

With linebacker not being a huge concern, the Saints signing a solid backup like these guys for a few years would sure up an area of weakness in case of injury.
