Tre’Quan Smith

Alvin Kamara wasn’t the only one that broke through in this season finale for the New Orleans Saints. In the wake of the news that Antonio Brown has worked out with the Saints, Tre’Quan Smith decided to have the best game of the season for him.

Smith caught five passes for 56 yards and he even broke the end zone. His touchdown came from one yard out in the middle of the second quarter from Drew Brees. That added to less than a handful of touchdowns Smith has scored on the year.

With Brown’s signing a complete uncertainty for the Saints right now, they need a receiver like Smith to stand up and play opposite Michael Thomas as a No. 2 receiver should.

The New Orleans Saints seem to be functioning through injuries pretty well and the rise of this new Tre’Quan Smith should help their odds of getting to the Super Bowl even on the road. Smith needs to keep up this production throughout the playoffs.
