Alvin Kamara

Kamara ended his touchdown drought a few games ago and we were all happy for him. However, we still wanted more. Alvin Kamara gave us just that in this game against Carolina.

While both of them were in the first quarter, Kamra still finished with eight rushes for 39 yards before being sidelined for Latavius Murray. With the game so out of reach for the Panthers, the Saints weren’t risking Kamara going down with another injury and favoring benching him instead.

The reason Kamara is on the stud list of from what we saw of him before heading to the bench. In the first quarter, Kamara broke a 15-yard touchdown run. His second first-quarter touchdown was from only one yard out, but Kamara was able to punch it home.

Seeing Kamara reach the end zone twice should be encouraging to Saints’ fans heading into the playoffs. If Kamara is giving this type of production in the playoffs, the New Orleans Saints will take this season to the Super Bowl.
