Stud No. 2 – Michael Thomas

The game that we have all been waiting for has finally come to fruition. Michael Thomas has broken the single-season receptions record previously held by Colts’ receiver Marvin Harrison. Thomas has finally cemented his name in the NFL Hall of Fame and history.

With that kind of historical number, comes a raise in Madden NFL 20. Michael Thomas, the unguardable, is now part of the 99 Club on Madden 20.

Besides for making history, Thomas put up another astronomical statistic game. He caught twelve receptions for 136 yards — that is 11.3 yards per receptions — and one touchdown. He caught 11 out of 17 targets thrown his way from Drew Brees.

This type of game from Michael Thomas is beginning to become normal. Imagine the team the Saints would have with a No. 2 receiver that was half of the player Thomas is. As Thomas grows into his role, he should only get better.

Expect Thomas to receive a huge extension from the New Orleans Saints following the one he is currently on. If Thomas can keep this production up, pair him with Kamara and the New Orleans Saints again have all the making for a 2009 Super Bowl-caliber team.
