Scenario: if one of the Seahawks or Packers lose

The Seattle Seahawks still have to play, arguably, the best team in the NFC — the San Francisco 49ers, in their week 17 divisional game. The last time they met, Seattle won 27-24. This is a game that could honestly go either way.

The Seahawks also played the Saints earlier in the year and the Saints won. With that being the case, Saints fans should be hoping for a 49ers victory in this week 17 matchup in Seattle.

Should the Seahawks lose, and the Packers win, the New Orleans Saints would move up to the No. 2 seed behind the Green Bay Packers.

The Green Bay Packers still have to play the Minnesota Vikings. While they are not a top seed or team in the NFC, they are still going to make the playoffs as the No. 6 seed, most likely. The Packers will still have a tough road ahead.

In their last meeting, the Packers topped the Vikings 21-16. That is still a winnable game for the Vikings, it was not a blowout. The Vikings have also gotten better since their week 2 meeting.

Should the Packers lose and the Seahawks win, the New Orleans Saints would move up to the No. 1 overall seed because they have the head-to-head tiebreaker on the Seahawks.
