Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

This is a matchup that will most likely determine the No. 4 seed in the NFC playoffs. The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are both 7-7 and at the top of their NFC division. It is as 50/50 of a game as you can get this late in the season.

The ESPN Power Index gives the Cowboys a 54.9% and the Eagles a 44.7% chance to win this game. They add in a 0.4% chance for a tie, but that is not what we should hope for.

Miles Sanders seems to be finding his fit into the Eagles offense as he is now almost to 700 yards rushing on the season. Zach Ertz will be another big factor in this game.

If the Eagles can get him involved in the passing game, they have a good chance to win this game.

The Cowboys have one of the best rushers in the NFL in Ezekiel Elliot. A running back that has the potential to completely take over a game. If Zeke gets over 20 carries for over 100 yards, the Dallas Cowboys win this game.

In terms of who the New Orleans Saints’ fans should be rooting for, it is really a toss-up. The Eagles have fewer weapons than the Cowboys and a greater chance to lose in the first round to the No. 5 seed which will end up being Seattle or San Francisco. Root for the Philadelphia Eagles.
