Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas is another New Orleans Saint on his way into the history books this year. Thomas finished Monday night with 12 receptions for 128 yards and one touchdown. Thomas’ totals on the year now are 133 receptions, 1,552 yards, and eight touchdowns.

He is 11 receptions shy of passing Marvin Harrison for the NFL record for most receptions in a single season (143). He is 412 yards shy of Calvin Johnson’s NFL record for most receiving yards in a single season (1,964).

He will most likely break at least one of these in the next coming weeks.

However, the reason he is on the “stud” list once again is for his stellar performance. He is only one of two players in NFL history to attain two 125-reception seasons. He helped lead the Saints in this victory over the Colts as well.

He did all he did in three quarters as well. The New Orleans Saints were up 34-0 on the Colts at the start of the fourth quarter, for that reason, Thomas didn’t play the fourth quarter.
