NFC Conference Championship

This is the rematch everyone wants to see in the NFC championship round of the playoffs. The San Francisco 49ers matched up with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints would receive the home-field advantage for having the higher seeding. It is exactly the rematch of week 14.

No. 5 San Francisco 49ers at No. 2 New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers met in week 15 of the regular season and it did not disappoint. It saw over 40 points scored from both teams in an offensive showdown. The ball was moving and moving quickly on both offenses.

The game came down to who could get the final word and that was George Kittle and the 49ers on a late 4th down conversion for over 20 yards putting them in field goal range to win the game on the back of their kicker.

This is a rematch that every NFL or football fan would love to see. It was an offensive explosion. The winner of this game could very well be the Super Bowl winner as well. However, I think we see the opposite. I think this time we see a defensive battle.

San Francisco 49ers 14 – New Orleans Saints 17

That would leave the Super Bowl to the New Orleans Saints and most likely the New England Patriots or Baltimore Ravens.

Again we would be looking at an offensive explosion. Could the Saints contain Lamar Jackson or Tom Brady? Can Drew Brees outshine the opposing quarterbacks?
