Divisional Round

In step the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers, the two top seeds. Since the divisional round gets reseeded. The No. 1 seed will face the lowest seed to advance and the No. 2 seed will face the highest seed to advance out of the wild card round.

No. 5 San Francisco 49ers at No. 1 Green Bay Packers

San Francisco has had great games against great opponents and terrible games against mediocre opponents. This game will be no different. I expect the 49ers to come out firing on the back of Jimmy G and the defense of Green Bay ranked merely 23rd.

Green Bay’s offense should also have trouble against the top-ranked defense of the Niners. The Packers offense is only ranked 22nd in the entire NFL. That is behind the 49ers by 17 spots. The talent level of the 49ers should prevail in this one heavily.

No. 3 Seattle Seahawks at No. 2 New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have definitely earned this bye week. They get the Seahawks in the divisional round of our mock playoffs. The Seahawks have a talented offense ranked No. 4 in the NFL and No. 3 in rushing.

They will meet the No. 4 ranked rush defense in the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are extremely banged up on defense, but they should have enough firepower in Drew Brees and Michael Thomas to keep up with the Seahawks.
