The New Orleans Saints need help on the defensive side of the ball, and they still have some options left on the free-agent market.

The New Orleans Saints have had no shortage of players on the injury report in the last couple of weeks.

DE Marcus Davenport and DT Sheldon Rankins both went to the injured reserve last week. They join WR Keith Kirkwood, LB Kaden Elliss, MLB Alex Anzalone, LB Josh Martin, and LB Colton Jumper on the injured reserve, just to name a few.

That’s not even counting the injuries that linger into Week 15. C Will Clapp, T Terron Armstead, G Andrus Peat, OLB A.J. Klein, DB Patrick Robinson, LB Kiko Alonso, and FB Zach Line are all questionable to appear on the field against the Colts this week.

It just seems like injuries are racking up week after week for the New Orleans Saints. Both sides of the ball for the New Orleans Saints are weakened, and the questions are starting to be raised on if the Saints can still reach the Super Bowl despite missing these players.

The New Orleans Saints need to dip into the free-agent market and pick up one or two players. There is talent there that could help bolster this team back into the Super Bowl contention discussions. Here are the top three players on the free-agent market that the Saints could sign.
