Stud No. 2 – Michael Thomas

This is another name that always finds his way onto this list and in a passing battle was bound to explode. Thomas kept his receptions and yards on pace to beat the NFL records.

He is now 22 receptions shy of breaking Marvin Harrison’s record of most receptions in a single season (143). He is 540 yards short of Calvin Johnson’s record of most receiving yards in a single season (1,964 in 2012).

Michael Thomas finished Sunday with 11 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets. Again proving that he is the best receiver in the NFL currently, and he is in the debate for the best receiver of all time.

However, the only downside to this game is that Thomas fumbled the ball for the first time this year. It was fumbled out of bounds so the New Orleans Saints didn’t lose the ball.
