New Orleans Saints: Week 14 Rapid review and reactions, Niners stun Saints

Second Half (SF 48; NO 46)
Third Quarter
After a huge first half of back and forth action, the halftime adjustment was needed for both teams on the defensive side of the ball. It proved to work. The third quarter only saw two Saints’ field goals and a George Kittle touchdown.
The defense was a little more focused at the start of the third quarter.
The Saints started the half off with an interception from Robertson.
They got a field goal on the next drive. The Saints made the Niners pun on the next drive. Two great defensive stops for the Saints, but the Niners came back with their own forcing a fumble and a turnover on downs from the Saints.
Fourth Quarter
The fourth quarter was a brutal one for the New Orleans Saints. Penalities proved to provide the winner in this game. On the first drive of the quarter, the Saints had two separate penalties on third downs giving extra opportunities to the 49ers.
Scoring a touchdown on that drive, the game became 42-33 Niners. On the ensuing drive, Michael Thomas made a huge catch to put the Saints near the goalline. Brees then hit Thomas for a 21-yard score. A power George Kittle run down just down one point eventually put the Niners in field goal position, ending the Saints hope.
