New Orleans Saints free-agent signings

The last thing that as a New Orleans Saints fan that we have to be thankful for is the free-agent signings that the team has made to improve themselves over the last couple of years. The most notable of these is the addition of new defensive leader Demario Davis to the squad.

Davis became an unrestricted free-agent in 2018. After he wanted to return to New York, they didn’t offer him a contract and the New Orleans Saints ended up signing him to three-year, $24 million contract.

In his first season as a Saint, Demario Davis currently leads the team in combined tackles on the year. That is not an easy task for the linebacker on a defense that is stacked with talent and has arguably the best front seven in the entire NFL.

The holiday season will surely prove to be one to remember. The team, players, coaches, organization, and fans all have something to be thankful about. We are part of a city that has a football heritage dating back to before we were even alive.
