New Orleans Saints Scouting Staff

One of the greatest things a New Orleans Saints fan can be thankful for this year is for the scouting staff.

More from Who Dat Dish

I know that seems like an odd group of people to be thankful for when you think about everyone who makes up the Saints organization, but these guys are some of the best in the business when it comes to what they do.

Out of the current New Orleans Saints star players, most of them were drafted by the New Orleans Saints.

Alvin Kamara (2017, 67th pick); Michael Thomas (2016, 47th pick); Sheldon Rankins (2016, 12th pick); Vonn Bell (2016, 61st pick); Ryan Ramczyk (2017, 32nd pick); Marcus Davenport (2018, 14th pick); Tre’Quan Smith (2018, 91st pick); Andrus Peat (2015, 13th pick); Chauncey Gardner-Johnson (2019, 105th pick); and Erik McCoy (2019, 48th pick).

As you can see, most of the starters and stars of this football team were scouted and drafted out of college by the scouting staff we have. As a New Orleans Saints fan, we should be proud and thankful that our beloved team was made from taking you players and developing talent the right way; it wasn’t bought with money.
